Tina Kramer, Chair
Ms. Kramer is the co-founder of Filling in the Blanks, a non-profit organization that ensures students who received free or reduced-priced meals at school have food over the weekends and during the summer. Her charity work spans the spectrum, including Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, charities dedicated to first responders, schools, and funding exciting projects such as the ones at STEMCivics.
Ms. Byard has enjoyed a highly successful career as a teacher in New Jersey. She has taught primary grade students in diverse educational environments, including the Village Charter School in Trenton and the Bound Brook School District. Recently, she taught kindergarten at the Chesterfield School District. Her interests include all forms of exercise, especially running and soccer.
Mr. Demmo is active in philantropic activites that enhance the lives of disadvantaged youths. His current focus is fighting hunger, and is devoted to many charities whose mission is in alignment with that focus. His professional experience is construction management.
Ms. Herrmann grew up in upstate New York and attended SUNY at Binghamton, graduating with a bachelor’s in English. Shortly after graduation, she worked for the American Journal of Nursing, holding both editorial and promotions positions. After a number of years, she moved into direct marketing.
A desire for a professional change led her to pursue carpentry, and in 1998, she joined the NYC Carpenters Union, and has worked as carpenter in NYC since 2002. She has two children enrolled in Village Charter School in Trenton, is an active member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Ewing, and is also the treasurer of her neighborhood civic association.
Mr. Watkins is an accomplished musician, businessman, and active philanthropist who is deeply committed to giving back to communities. He is active in enhancing lives of individuals who have given service to our country, and currently training members of the Wounded Warriors organization to scuba dive.
